It depends on where the meet is at. I live up in Huntington, WV, so unless the meet is pretty centrally located, it would be a big drive for me.

I think 'where' is a better question than 'when' at this point in time. Because if its in Atlanta or somewhere, I doubt I can make it ever.

But on the topic of 'when', I am moving back to Detroit in late February/early March so thats also a thing.

Yeah. And if the location of everyone puts the centroid of our area a bit more to the north rather than the south, then Knoxville would be perfect. I'd even propose a trip to the Devil's Triangle, which isn't too far from Knoxville.

Also, someone get Battery Tender Not Necessary. He has an SLS. He lives near Knoxville.

Yessir! Charleston isn't so bad, you've got a ton of places to eat, the mall, all the stuff out on Corridor G, the Clay Center, an endless maze of excellent driving roads on the hill, and the most important thing of all. The third Sunday of the month, the southern WV SCCA chapter (SWVRSCCA, we're on Facebook) meets up for an autocross at the Riverside High School parking lot. I participated two months ago, and plan to again when they start back up in January of February. In fact, I made this gif of it last night. (not my car) Seriously though, if you've never been up on the hill, drive up Porter road, and screw around up there for a while. The Montrose area is fairly entertaining too.

I live out Corridor G, I'm going to HAVE to go to this SCCA event when it starts back up. Wish I had a descent car to compete.

Miss Hton so much, It had more personality that Charleston, I'm still a bigger fan of the H-ton eateries, La Familia and Backyard especially.

I used to head south into Wayne County to drive for some fun twisties. There are roads all over the place, you just have to be willing to burn a few bucks in gas.

There are some pretty boss places to eat in Charleston, particularly Pies N' Pints and Charleston Brewing Company. I actually prefer Pies N' Pints to backyard, but they're both good. Adelphia's, Recovery and Little India are also good.

Also, while they both have their crime problems, I've seen someone get arrested from my apartment window in Huntington, and have had two drug busts occur within 50 yards of my place. Charleston seems a good bit calmer.

You probably live by the speedway on 8th St and 6th Ave....haha...I used to live a couple blocks from there. Nothing like trying to find a way around a police blockade on a regular basis. And parts of Charleston are cleaner, you can always find what you are looking for. I prefer to see the cleaner parts and try to look for my rose colored glasses

I would be competing in a Auto Corolla...not something I brag about around these parts. It was a free car, so I'm thankful, it just doesn't fit my personality or give me any street creed. You got a TON of body roll on that bad boy.

I'm on 6th Ave. Across from campus. The body roll is a little deceiving in that shot, the car is lowered and has big (33mm front, 21mm rear) sway bars, so it's actually not as bad as stock. It was also free, and is an auto (they all are) although I just emailed a speed shop in Ohio about fixing that...

Good luck with the meet. Its not a big deal to organize it. Just get date, time, and place set in stone, and roll with it. and hope everyone shows haha.

my advice is to keep posting this up a bunch of times so you can grad everyones attention for those who can go.
